The facts

Where are telehealth services available?

Telehealth services are available in 46 states and Washington, D.C., where clinically appropriate and permitted by applicable law. Clinical care is provided by licensed medical providers affiliated with an independent physician group. You'll see whether we serve your state at the start of your intake.

Is treatment guaranteed?

No. Completing an intake form or selecting a program does not guarantee treatment. Prescription medications are only provided when a licensed medical provider determines they are clinically appropriate.

Do I need to speak with a provider?

Your intake is reviewed by a licensed medical provider. Depending on your health history, goals, treatment request, and applicable requirements, the provider may request additional information, lab work, or a consultation before making a treatment decision.

Are compounded medications FDA-approved?

No. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not evaluate compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or quality.

Can I use Trusted Source Rx for emergency care?

No. Trusted Source Rx is not for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical attention. If you're in crisis, call or text 988.

Who provides the clinical care?

Licensed clinicians with The Network, an independent physician group. You can message your clinician anytime through your patient portal.

Who handles pharmacy and prescription fulfillment?

Licensed, vetted 503A compounding pharmacies in the U.S. For questions about shipping or your order, contact our support team.

Labs

How does the at-home test work?

The kit comes with a small upper-arm device. You place it on your arm, press the button, and it collects a small sample in a few seconds. Then you mail it back in the prepaid box.

Will I see a needle?

Not with the lab kit. The device collects the sample inside a closed housing in a few seconds. If a panel ever needs a standard draw, we tell you before you order.

Who runs my sample?

A CLIA-certified laboratory, and a licensed clinician reviews every order before the kit ships. If a number is out of range, a clinician reaches out.

Can you ship a kit to my state?

At-home testing is not available in all states. You'll see at checkout whether we can ship a kit to yours.

Weight management

Do I need labs before I start?

No. Labs are never required for a prescription. Start whenever you're ready, and along the way we'll suggest a panel so you can see what's changing on the inside.

Is a GLP-1 a controlled substance?

No. It's a prescription medication, but it isn't a controlled substance. What fits your recovery is your call, and a good conversation to have with your people.

What if I don't qualify?

Then we tell you plainly, and you're not charged for medication. No is a real possible answer.

How much does it cost, all in?

A visit fee, then the medication price each month if a clinician prescribes it, and labs only if you order them. Every price is on the pricing page.

Hair

How fast does hair treatment work?

Months, not weeks. Your clinician checks in at 3 months, and the photos from day one are how you'll actually see the difference.

Does finasteride have side effects?

It can, including sexual side effects and mood changes. Tell your clinician about any history of depression or anxiety, and if your mood changes after starting, stop and contact your clinician. The full picture is on the safety page.

Women

Is this for women too?

Yes. Women in recovery get the same licensed clinicians, the same vetted pharmacies, and the same kit, plus a hormone panel built for women. It's all on the women's page.

What if I'm pregnant or planning to be?

Weight management medication is not for anyone who is pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, and some hair medications aren't safe during pregnancy either. Your clinician will ask.

Pricing

Do you take insurance?

No. We're cash pay only.

Can I cancel?

There's no membership fee and no long-term contract. The details are in our Cancellation and Refund Policy on the Legal page.

Privacy

Who sees my information?

Your clinician, the pharmacy filling your prescription, and the lab running your sample. Not advertisers. Not anyone else. Read the full Notice of Privacy Practices on the Legal page.

Do you use ad trackers?

No ad pixels run on pages that collect health information, and we don't share your health information with Facebook, Google, or anyone selling ads.

Recovery

Do I have to be in recovery to use this?

No. We built it for men in recovery, but you don't have to tell us anything about that to get care.

I'm on Suboxone, methadone, or naltrexone. Can I still do this?

Maybe. Tell your clinician everything you take, including anything for your recovery, and they'll make the call. Don't stop or change any medication on your own. Some weight medications contain naltrexone. We don't offer them, because they can cause withdrawal if you take opioid medication.

Will it help with cravings for alcohol or drugs?

We don't prescribe it for that and we won't promise it. Researchers are studying it. That's not the same as knowing. If your recovery feels shaky, talk to your people and your doctor first.
